Foi no princípio de 2005 quando a banda de metal Neblina tentava encontrar novos membros para a banda, mas infelizmente ou felizmente, não encontraram um baixista embora tenham encontrado um baterista " Toke". Só nos fins de 2006 é que baixista actual "Bokolo" voltou a juntar-se aos Neblina. Consequentemente antes desta nova formação, naquela altura alguns membros da banda estavam a dar mais atenção aos seus empregos pessoais, e quase que nunca apareciam no local de ensaios. Foi então aí que Fio e Toke começaram a tocar como um dueto, e as vezes como um trio, com o terceiro elemento nunca fixo.

Band Formation
It was back in early 2005 when the metal band Neblina was trying to hook up new members for the band, but unfortunately or fortunately, never found a bassist though they found a drummer "Toke". Os Mpty Head São mesmo a banda da Cabeça Vazia, no sentido da palavra. Não têm músicas feitas, só tocadas. Não têm reportório e nem se quer letras feitas. É tudo criado na intensidade e calor do momento, sem qualquer direcção ou plano prévio. A direcção é criada no momento. Como se vivesse só o momento, sem preocupações, ou planos elaborados. Concept
The Mpy Head really are the Empty Head, in the sense of the word. They don't have songs done, only played. They don’t have set list not even lyrics done. It's all created in the intensity in the heat of the moment, without any direction or previous plan of whatsoever. The direction is created in the moment.
